Cremation Ashes Rainbow Bridge Memorial Keepsake, Medium, Pet or Human

Description

A beautiful way to remember a lost loved one. This stunning Cremation Ashes Medium Rainbow Bridge is handmade using specialist art glass. The cremation ashes of your loved one are sprinkled over the Rainbow and are then fused in between layers of glass. It is a beautiful, unique memorial keepsake.

The process:

  • After you have placed your order, I will send you a kit with full instructions, to collect the ashes. I only need around a teaspoon worth, any unused ashes will be returned along with your Rainbow.
  • If you have a preferred placement for the ashes, please leave a note in the box at checkout.
  • Once I’ve received the ashes back, it will take up to 2 weeks to make your Rainbow Bridge.

The postage price includes me sending the ashes kit to you and the final heart being sent on completion.

2 x Postage is included in the postage price – Sending the ashes kit to you via 1st class and sending the finished item to you via your chosen postage method. I highly recommend sending the ashes to me via Signed For post at least, to ensure they get to me.

Unfortunately there is no option for prepaid postage when sending signed for. I’ve researched it in the past and spoken to Royal Mail to find a solution but as of now, it isn’t something they offer.

Many people choose to send the ashes back via special delivery to ensure they get to me, or delay sending them back so it isn’t a one size fits all procedure, unfortunately. There is an easy option to buy postage online and arrange a collection at your convenience at https://send.royalmail.com/

It’s an honour to make these available and you can be assured I take great care of the ashes while in my possession. I have a special area in my workshop set aside. All unused ashes will be returned to you along with your beautiful Rainbow.

The Rainbow Bridge measures approximately 15cm wide by 7cm deep and 5cm high. The Rainbow looks stunning on display. The light shines through this beautifully, making a gorgeous rainbow shadow. The ashes are visible and are grey with a slight sparkle.

You can choose from the 7 colour rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple) or the 6 colour Pride rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue, purple).

This can also be personalised with a name/date in silver, gold, black or white permanent enamel. The text will be positioned on the red colour, in the middle of the rainbow, unless otherwise instructed by you.

The Cremation Ashes Rainbow looks delicate but it is pretty tough at 6mm thick, but as with all glass, it’s best to keep it out of the reach of children and handle with love and care.

Mini and large Rainbows are also available in the same style. I also make other Rainbows, without ashes here.

Postage Info

There are a range of postage options to choose from within your Basket or at Checkout. Prices start from £3.25 for smaller items and £3.85 for parcel orders.

All orders are sent Signed For or Tracked, depending on which service you choose, with the exception of Ashes Jewellery products which are sent Special Delivery.

FREE 2nd Class Signed For Delivery is available on orders over £80, excluding Ashes products.

International customers can buy through my Etsy store.

All orders are packaged extremely well to prevent damage in the post. The packaging I use can be re-used or recycled and I encourage you to recycle or re-use the bubble wrap, foam and ribbons.

Products marked as Handmade to Order: Current turnaround time from receiving your order to posting is displayed at the top of each listing, delivery time is in addition to this. If you need your order sooner, there is a “Rush Order” option at checkout.

Ashes Memorials – Ashes Memorial products are usually completed and sent within 2 weeks of me receiving the ashes. Delivery time is in addition to this.

Care of Your Glass

I wrote a blog post on how not to hang your glass – please don’t use window suckers!

General Care Instructions:

  • Glass is breakable so please handle with care.
  • Gentle handwash only – no harsh chemicals or abrasives – wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
  • If your glass is to be placed outside, please protect it from wind and storms.


    • Jewellery Care:

  • Never immerse in water.
  • Ensure you remove your jewellery before bathing/showering, swimming and cleaning.
  • Sterling Silver and Plated Silver will always tarnish over time, especially when not worn for a time. Use a good qualty soft silver polishing cloth to remove any tarnish and bring back the shine.

    • You might not know there are different Rainbow colour versions! Here’s an explanation.
