Description
A beautiful memorial keepsake necklace with cremation ashes (pet or human) fused inside the dichroic glass.
Each pendant is handcrafted and encapsulates your loved ones ashes, set in a stamped 925 Sterling Silver pendant setting or glued onto a 925 Sterling Silver Leaf bail. There are two setting styles and 3 lengths of necklace to choose from.
The main colour is described below but dichroic glass is very changeable and the colour depends on the light and angle of view. The colours won’t be exactly the same as on screen and each piece of glass is different but I do my best to make the final pendant as close as possible. After firing in my kiln, I will email progress photos for you to approve.
Each necklace comes with a silver polishing cloth and is sent in a black jewellery pouch or you can upgrade to a jewellery box.

What is Dichroic Glass? Dichroic glass is glass which can display multiple different colors depending on lighting conditions. It has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. Why is Dichroic Glass so expensive? The equipment required to produce dichroic glass is high tech and very expensive, making the glass itself something that not all glass artists are comfortable experimenting with. All about Dichroic Glass
The Process:
After you have placed your order, I will send you a kit with full instructions, to collect the ashes. I only need around half a teaspoon worth, any unused ashes will be returned along with your order.
If you have a preferred placement for the ashes, please leave a note in the box at checkout or when sending the ashes. Once I’ve received the ashes, it will take up to 2 weeks to make your cremation jewellery.
It’s an honour to make these available and you can be assured I take great care of the ashes of your loved one while in my possession. I have a special area in my workshop set aside.
The postage price includes me sending the ashes kit to you and the final item being sent on completion.
2 x Postage is included in the postage price – Sending the ashes kit to you via 1st class and sending the finished item to you via your chosen postage method. I highly recommend sending the ashes to me via Signed For post at least, to ensure they get to me.
Unfortunately there is no option for prepaid postage when sending signed for. I’ve researched it in the past and spoken to Royal Mail to find a solution but as of now, it isn’t something they offer.
Many people choose to send the ashes back via special delivery to ensure they get to me, or delay sending them back so it isn’t a one size fits all procedure, unfortunately.
There is an easy option to buy postage online and arrange a collection at your convenience at https://send.royalmail.com/
It’s an honour to make these available and you can be assured I take great care of the ashes while in my possession. I believe when dealing with ashes of loved ones, it’s important to treat them with love, care and respect. So I’ve created a lovely space in my workshop for them to be, while they’re with me.
I make lots of other colours:
If you can’t see a colour you like, please get in touch, as I might be able to help you choose a colour more suited to your taste.
