Ashes Candle Bridge Rainbow, Pet or Human

Description

This is a lovely Candle / tealight holder in Rainbow colours with cremation ashes fused inside the glass. The ashes are visible and are grey with a slight sparkle.

The light shines through and reflects the beautiful Rainbow coloured glass, from whichever angle you are viewing it from. It can be situated inside or outside.

The rainbow candle holder holds a candle or tealight and measures approximately 18cm wide by 12cm deep and 3cm high. The recess in the centre measures 5cm square and is perfect for you to place a candle/tealight – or it could be used as a trinket dish.

The candle bridge can be personalised with a name, date, pawprints etc in black, white, gold or silver permanent enamel – just select the personalised option and leave a note of the wording you would like added.

After you have placed your order, I will send you a kit to collect the ashes, with full instructions. I only need around half a teaspoon worth, any unused ashes will be returned along with your Rainbow. If you have a preferred placement for the ashes, please leave a note in the box at checkout.

Once I’ve received the ashes back, it will take up to 2 weeks to make your Rainbow Bridge. If you’d prefer to send your ashes to me directly without a kit, please leave a message letting me know. All unused ashes will be returned to you along with your beautiful Rainbow.

2 x Postage is included in the postage price – Sending the ashes kit to you via 1st class and sending the finished item to you via your chosen postage method. I highly recommend sending the ashes to me via Signed For post at least, to ensure they get to me.

Unfortunately there is no option for prepaid postage when sending signed for. I’ve researched it in the past and spoken to Royal Mail to find a solution but as of now, it isn’t something they offer. Many people choose to send the ashes back via special delivery to ensure they get to me, or delay sending them back so it isn’t a one size fits all procedure, unfortunately. There is an easy option to buy postage online and arrange a collection at your convenience at https://send.royalmail.com/

It’s an honour to make these available and you can be assured I take great care of the ashes while in my possession.

The postage price includes the initial Ashes kit and the final Rainbow being sent to you.

The rainbow can be placed inside or outside, fused glass doesn’t fade in the sun! Just make sure to keep it protected from the wind.

This looks delicate but it is pretty tough at 6mm thick, but as with all glass, it’s best to keep it out of the reach of children and handle it with love and care.

Postage Info

There are a range of postage options to choose from within your Basket or at Checkout. Prices start from £3.25 for smaller items and £3.85 for parcel orders.

All orders are sent Signed For or Tracked, depending on which service you choose, with the exception of Ashes Jewellery products which are sent Special Delivery.

FREE 2nd Class Signed For Delivery is available on orders over £80, excluding Ashes products.

International customers can buy through my Etsy store.

All orders are packaged extremely well to prevent damage in the post. The packaging I use can be re-used or recycled and I encourage you to recycle or re-use the bubble wrap, foam and ribbons.

Care of Your Glass

I wrote a blog post on how not to hang your glass – please don’t use window suckers!

General Care Instructions:

  • Glass is breakable so please handle with care.
  • Gentle handwash only – no harsh chemicals or abrasives – wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
  • If your glass is to be placed outside, please protect it from wind and storms.


    • Jewellery Care:

  • Never immerse in water.
  • Ensure you remove your jewellery before bathing/showering, swimming and cleaning.
  • Sterling Silver and Plated Silver will always tarnish over time, especially when not worn for a time. Use a good qualty soft silver polishing cloth to remove any tarnish and bring back the shine.

    • You might not know there are different Rainbow colour versions! Here’s an explanation.
